Next Steps is Living Streets’ walking challenge for students transitioning to secondary school, taking place over two steps.

There are two easy to run and fun touchpoints for the Next Steps challenge with engaging, top quality educational resources.

Each pack includes:

• Transitions leaflet for every student to take home                  
• Student magnet to take home over the summer holidays to help plan to travel actively for the new year at secondary school
• Hands Up Survey to measure baseline against current year-7 students
• Hands Up Survey for children who participate in Next Steps to measure change in attitudes and active travel modes
• Challenge cards for every pupil in the new year 7 to complete
• School poster
• Downloadable certificates
• School gate banner
• £50 shopping vouchers
